Naturgy Energy Group SA commissioned its 29.2 MW Puerto del Rosario wind farm project located in Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands in Spain.
The facility consists of eight wind turbines and represents about EUR35 million (US$41.7 million) of investment. The project can generate around 15 GWh of energy per year, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 42,000 homes.
Naturgy secures support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the development of the project.
