Capital Energy has started the commercial operation of the 39 MW Las Tadeas wind farm project located in the Palencia province of Castilla y Leon, Spain.
The facility consists of 11 wind turbines supplied by Seimens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA and can generate up to 138,000 MWh of energy per year. With roughly EUR40 million (US$47.40 million) of investment, the project can supply the energy demand of about 52,000 local homes.
