Mytilineos has completed the acquisition of the 15% stake in the 560 MW Rosedale Green Hydrogen Project located in New South Wales, Australia for undisclosed financial details.

The project, owned by Clara Energy in partnership with Hydrogen Fuels Australia, is being developed next to the 800 MW solar farm near Gundagai, which sits between Melbourne and Sydney on the Hume Highway. The hydrogen facility is designed to supply enough clean fuel for up to 800 trucks per day.

Clara aims to install the first hydrogen refueling station along Sydney-Melbourne halfway through 2025. It plans to build four more hydrogen refueling stations between Victoria and Sydney as part of a partnership with Hydrogen Fuels Australia.
