MB holding has officially opened the 16.5 MW Velika Ciglena geothermal power project with an investment of HRK325 million (US$48.46 million).
The power plant is located in Bjelovar, 85 km east of Zagreb and has generated more than 55 GWh of electricity, since it started operating in March of 2019.
MB Holding has secured the contract to build the Velika 1 geothermal power plant in 2015.
