Emerge, a joint venture between Masdar and EDF Group, has signed an agreement to develop a 7 MWp ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project for Khazna Data Centers in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Emerge will finance, design, construct, and manage the solar park for 25 years.
The plant, which has secured Abu Dhabi's Department of Energy Solar Photovoltaic (PV) self-regulating generation license, will deliver power to Masdar City's Khazna Abu Dhabi 6 (AUH 6) complex. Currently under development, the center is scheduled to open in the coming year.
