Lyon Capital has held advanced negotiations with Hichens Harrison for the acquisition of a Brazillian solar farm with a capacity of 30 MW. The facility located in Rio Grande do Norte requires an investment of around BRL130 million (US$34.6 million).

The transaction is still subject to National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel)'s endorsement, as the implementation authorisation was revoked by the regulator due to construction delays.

Construction will shortly begin in 90 days after the project receives approval from Aneel.
