Longroad Energy has completed the acquisition of Sunpin Holdings, LLC's 98 MWdc Titan solar project in the US. Titan is an operational project in Imperial County that generates enough energy to provide more than 30,000 homes in Southern California.
Titan sells power to the California Independent System Operator (CAISO). The project reached commercial operations in December 2020.
To finance the transaction, Great Bay Renewables made a royalty investment in Titan simultaneous with the closing. Morgan Stanley is the project's tax equity investor. Allen & Overy represented Longroad in the transaction.
