Macquarie has acquired DTG Recycle, a non-municipal solid waste recycling business in the US.
Executives of DTG will maintain a 15% to 20% share in the company, while Macquarie is anticipated to pay approximately US$300 million for the majority stake. One of the shareholders, Clairvest, expects to receive US$53.2 million from the sale of its interest.
Without releasing financial details, Macquarie's fund has acquired the waste hauling and recycling business firm in Washington State from its previous owners.
