Jupiter Power, Hatch EQ sign energy storage tolling agreement in Texas

Jupiter Power LLC and Hatch EQ I LLC, have executed an innovative energy storage tolling agreement. As part of the tolling agreement, Jupiter will receive steady revenue while Hatch EQ dispatches and collects market revenues generated by the 100 MW/100 MWh Crossett I battery energy storage system located in Crane County in Texas, USA. The deal aims at unlocking the potential of energy storage technology to improve the reliability of power grids and decrease carbon emissions. 

Jupiter, a standing-alone energy storage developer, owns and operates the largest battery fleet in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).

Hatch EQ is a pioneering partnership between Hatch Renewables LLC and Equilibrium Energy.
