Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) has signed a contract with ReNew Power for the development of the proposed 300 MW hybrid energy project in Jajpur, Odisha, India.
The project will produce 700 GWh of clean energy per year using a combination of solar and wind power. The proposal will be implemented as a result of negotiations with the relevant stakeholders. Jindal's goal is to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
JSPL is an Indian steel company based in New Delhi. The company is part of OP Jindal Group which operates in steel, mining, and infrastructure in India.
