Gensol Engineering Limited's bid of Rs232.49 crores (US$28.3 million) for the development of 30 MWac floating solar projects won the auction.
The capacity is distributed between three thermal power facilities in Jharkhand (6 MWac at Koderma) and West Bengal (14 MWac at Mejia and 10 MWac at Raghunathpur).
The scope of work comprises design, engineering, supply, building, testing, and commissioning of these projects, as well as operation and maintenance services for a period of ten years following successful plant commissioning.
