Microsoft India has signed a 150 MW renewable energy supply contract with ReNew Power.

As part of the agreement, ReNew will generate 150 MW of sustainable energy from a solar plant near Bikaner that was just commissioned. This transaction demonstrates that corporations worldwide, including India, are progressively integrating renewable energy into all aspects of their business.

Microsoft aims to run entirely on renewable energy by 2025 and become carbon negative by 2030.
