MSEDCL launches RFS for procurement of 300 MW wind power in India

Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) has launched a Request for Selection (RFS) for the 300 MW wind power on a long-term basis through a competitive bidding process from intra-state wind power projects in India. 

Following the selection from the tender, MSEDCL shall enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the bidders based on the terms and conditions and provisions of the RfS document for the purchase of wind power for a period of 12 years from the date of execution of PPA. 

The projects to be selected have an aggregate capacity of 300 MW. Eligible projects are those which are already supplying power to MSEDCL or any other Discom under Long term EPA (FIT), whose such EPAs have already been expired or due to expire on or before March 2024.

The deadline for the submission of documents to participate in the tender is on January  6, 2023.
