Japan Benex Corporation has started the commercial operation of the 3.7 MW DC solar photovoltaic project installed on the rented roof of the logistics facility Prologis Park Chiba 1 in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
The solar PV farm consists of 6,786 solar modules and is expected to generate an annual power generation of approximately 3.86 GWh of clean energy. The project operates under a Feed-in-Tariff of JPY10.7 per kWh (about US$73.42/MWh).
The annual energy produced from the plant is designed to meet the consumption of up to 1,300 households.
