Invenergy Japan G.K., a Japanese wholly-owned subsidiary of Invenergy Investment Holdings LLC and SB Energy Corp. have started the commercial operation of the 9.2-megawatt dc Queens Solar Farm in Matsukawa-machi, Fukushima City, Japan.
Queens Solar Farm is operated by Queens Solar Energy G.K. The facility will generate a total of 9,774,600 kWh per year, enough electricity to power approximately 2,715 Japanese homes annually.
