Vena Energy has started the construction of the 51 MW Nanao Solar Project located in Nanao City in the Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
The Nanao Solar Project is developed by a joint-venture between Vena Energy and Kyudenko Corporation, a renewable energy facilities survey, design, and construction company in Japan.
The Nanao Solar Project will feature 118,848 solar photovoltaic panels across an expanse of 102.78 hectares and is forecasted to produce approximately 52,433 MWh annually, enough to supply renewable energy for about 10,443 local households and offset about 21,205 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions.
The project scheduled to attain its Commercial Operation Date in December 2022.
