JRE starts construction of the 42 MW JRE Miyagi Kami Wind Farm

Japan Renewable Energy Corporation (JRE) has started the construction of the 42 MW wind farm in the Miyagi prefecture.

The JRE Miyagi Kami Wind Farm is being built in the municipality of Kami. It consists of 10 wind turbines that can generate up to 101.5 million kWh per year. The project is expected to be operational by 2023. 

Once in service, the wind farm will supply energy to the Japanese electric utility Tohoku Electric Power Co Inc.
