State-owned Hindustan Salts Ltd. has launched a call for tender for the development of a 1 GW solar photovoltaic project on 5,000 acres of disused land in Gujarat, India.
The selected bidder will develop and operate the project on disused land at Kharaghoda, Surendranagar district. A fixed annual rental fee will be paid to Hindustan Salts for the land used by the solar farm.
