Grenergy has put into operation three 30 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in the Colombian department of Tolima. The Cerritos, La Medina, and Los Caballeros PV parks will generate enough energy to power 40,000 homes and save 27,000 tonnes of CO2 annually.
There are presently 72 MW of solar plants in operation in Colombia, and more than 1 GW is under construction.
