Glennmont Partners has started the commercial operation of the 211 MW Piiparinmäki onshore wind farm located in the Kainuu region of Finland.
The project, which is located in the Kainuu and North Ostrobothnia areas, was built with Vestas wind turbine technology and includes 13 V150 4.2 MW and 28 V150 5.6 MW turbines with a hub height of 150 m. Glennmont has joint ownership in Piiparinmäki, alongside their partner Kansai Electric Power Company, a minority stakeholder after purchasing a 15% stake in 2020.
