Fusion Fuel has announced the signing of a long-term green hydrogen offtake contract with a Spanish industrial group. Under this agreement, Fusion Fuel will produce approximately 111.5 tonnes of green hydrogen annually at its 2.5 MW green hydrogen project in Toledo, Spain, which is scheduled to commence operations in 2024. The facility, received a grant funding of EUR3.3 million (US$3.6 million) from Spain's H2 Pioneros program earlier this year.
This partnership also signifies a crucial step towards a sustainable future, as the Spanish industrial group's commitment to decarbonization is highlighted through this collaboration. By entering into this long-term supply agreement, the company is showing its dedication to prioritizing environmentally-friendly solutions and reducing its carbon footprint.
