Fugro gets survey contract for 3 GW Norwegian offshore wind project

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has awarded Fugro a marine site characterization contract for the 3 GW Sorlige Nordsjo II offshore wind project in Norway.

Fugro is responsible for mapping the seafloor and subseafloor to expand understanding of the geological features of the site and to support future phases of the facility's construction.

Sorlige Nordsjo II will be one of the country's first large-scale offshore wind farms and will be developed in two phases of 1,500 MW each.
