FREYR Battery has signed a binding Heads of Terms agreement with Statkraft.

The agreement has a goal of securing a long-term supply of renewable energy at globally competitive terms for FREYR's proposed battery cell manufacturing project in Mo I Rana, Norway.

For the years 2024-2031, Statkraft is expected to meet all of FREYR's existing and planned electrical needs, as well as assure physical transport of energy from the central grid at Mo I Rana to FREYR's Customer Qualification Plant and combined Gigafactory 1 & 2.
