European Energy has announced the sale of the Noto Solar Project in Italy to IREN. The project is a photovoltaic (PV) plant with a total power capacity of 20.39 MWp and an estimated production of 42 GWh, located in the areas of Noto and Pachino in the province of Syracuse, Sicily. With this sale, IREN will become the 100% owner and holder of the rights and authorizations for the project's development.
The Noto Solar Project sale agreement is part of the larger partnership agreement signed between European Energy and IREN in January 2022.
