Aura Power has announced that it plans on constructing a new energy storage project in the Italian province of Benevento. The company is set to build a 200 MW/800 MWh storage project in Maddaloni, located in the southern region of Italy, and has already received the final approval for the project, and it expects to begin construction by 2025.
Aura Power has enlisted the help of Legance and 3E Ingegneria to assist in the development of the facility. Aura Power has a track record of developing solar and battery energy storage projects throughout North America and Europe, with 20 GW of projects currently under development.
