The local council in Denmark has approved the development permission sought by Renewables company European Energy A/S to build a 300 MW solar photovoltaic facility near Kasso in Aabenraa, Southern Jutland region.
The solar complex will have an estimated total investment of more than DKK1 billion (US$157.5 million).
The project is expected to be operational before the end of 2021. Once running. the solar farm can generate enough energy for the consumption of about 75,000 homes.
