ERG Renewables has proposed the construction of the 300 MW Kladovo Solar Gate project located near the city of Kladovo in eastern Serbia. The plant is expected to have a capacity of approximately 300 MW. The project, known as Kladovo Solar Gate, will be situated on a 583-ha (1,441-acre) plot of land located approximately 5 km (3.1 miles) from the town center of Kladovo.
The Kladovo Solar Gate project is still in its early planning stages, and technical solutions have not yet been drafted. The initiative is expected to make use of Serbia's abundant solar resources, which are among the most favorable in Europe.
In addition to its potential impact on renewable energy, the Kladovo Solar Gate project is also expected to have positive implications for the economic development of the region.
