The Government of Serbia, with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), has launched its first renewable energy auction for a 400 MW wind and 50 MW solar capacity through a contract for difference for 15 years.
The launch follows a technical cooperation project with the Ministry of Mining and Energy, led by the EBRD and supported by the government of Switzerland via a grant from the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
The deadline for the submission of an application to participate in the tender is on August 14, 2023.
