Equinor has completed the construction of its 58 MW Stępień solar photovoltaic (PV) project located in the municipality of Braniewo in Warmia, Poland.
The solar PV was developed and will be operated Wento, a wholly-owned unit of Equinor. The project consists of more than 100,000 solar panels installed over an area of around 65 ha. It is designed to generate up to 61 GWh of energy per year, enough for the consumption of up to 31,000 Polish homes.
