Eolus sells stand-alone battery storage project in Los Angeles to Blackstone Group

Swedish wind project developer Eolus Vind AB has entered into an agreement with Aypa Power (a Blackstone portfolio company) to sell the stand-alone battery energy storage project Cald, with a generating capacity of up to 120 MW, located in Los Angeles, California USA.

The project is currently in the development stage. Eolus will continue to provide services for the benefit of the project and Aypa through a Development Services Agreement. The project is targeted for commercial operation in 2024.
