The Spanish Government energy regulators have granted Enlight Renewable Energy permission to energize its 329 MW project in Cuenca, Spain.
The company will begin a gradual transition to the commercial operation of the project that is expected to deliver clean energy equal to the needs of around 260 thousand Spanish families. Through a special purpose entity, Enlight maintains a 72 % stake in the project alongside the Phoenix Group (14.7 %) and the Menora Group (13.3 %).
Enlight received approval to begin running a 182 MW initial production, however, the company plans to fully commercialize the entire 329 MW capacity in the next weeks.
