The company will erect 71 wind turbines on 46,931 acres in Hyde and Hughes counties. The US$265 million North Bend wind farm is expected to open in late 2023.
Access roads, underground 34.5kV electrical collector lines, underground fiber-optic cable, and a 34.5kV to 230kV collection substation will be installed. A 230kV interconnection switching station, aircraft detecting lighting system, and permanent meteorological tower will also be included.
