Stonepeak Partners LP affiliates have agreed to sell Madison Energy Investments (MEI) to the EQT Infrastructure VI fund.
MEI is a developer, owner, and operator of distributed solar and energy storage projects for commercial and industrial (C&I) and community customers. The company was founded in 2019 and has its headquarters in Virginia, USA. MEI has built a portfolio of more than 386 MW across the country since its founding.
The acquisition is contingent on customary conditions and clearances and is anticipated to conclude in Q1 of 2023. Barclays (finance) and Simpson, Thatcher, & Bartlett LLP (legal) provided counsel for EQT Infrastructure.
