Amazonas Distribuidora de Energia S.A. generates, transmits, and distributes electric energy to residential, industrial, and commercial customers. Amazonas Distribuidora de Energia S.A. was formerly known as Manaus Energia S/A and changed its name to Amazonas Distribuidora de Energia S.A. in 2008. The company was founded in 1997 and is based in Manaus, Brazil.
