EDF Renewables, a subsidiary of French utility EDF Group, plans to build a 242 MW wind farm project in the state of Paraiba in Brazil.
The Serra do Serido wind farm will be built in the towns of Junco de Serido and Santa Luzia. The project represents about BRL1 billion (US$187 million) in the state.
The wind farm is expected to be operational in 2023.
