Ingeteam is supplying and installing its power conversion units for the largest solar PV complex of its kind in South America, which Enel Green Power is building in the municipality of Sao Goncalo do Gurgueia, in the Brazilian state of Piauí.
The Sao Goncalo solar project already has 608 MWp of solar power in operation, corresponding to the installation and commissioning of the first two phases. In this third phase, 256 MWp are being installed.
For this third section of the project, Ingeteam has supplied thirty 7.2 MW power stations, each containing four 1.8 MW solar inverters, power transformer, medium voltage switchgear, auxiliary services panel, auxiliary services transformer, and UPS.
