BP offtakes power from 534 MW Rio do Vento wind project in Rio Grande do Norte

BP signed a 15-year contract to purchase wind power from Brazilian renewable project developer Casa dos Ventos.

The agreement, which provides for the supply of wind energy with wind turbines from 2023, was signed with BP’s local energy marketing unit and provides for the delivery of production from the Rio do Vento Wind Farm, currently under construction by Casa dos Ventos , in Rio Grande do Norte.
