DSD enters deal to acquire 41.5 MW of community solar projects in New York and Maryland

New York-based Distributed Solar Development LLC (DSD), backed by BlackRock Real Assets, has entered into an agreement to acquire a 41.5 MW solar community portfolio located in the states of New York and Maryland in the USA. 

The portfolio consists of nine projects that are currently under development with some of which will have energy storage. The projects will have a collective generation capacity of 59,300 MWh per year.

The solar farms in New York are expected to enter the construction phase by the first quarter of 2022 while the projects in Maryland will enter into operation by the same schedule.
