Eviny has announced that it has acquired two Wind farms located in Norway with a total capacity of 365 MW from Blackrock.
The transaction was valued at EUR 537.5 million (USD 584.9 million) and involved the 197MW Guleslettene wind facility located in the municipalities of Bremanger and Kinn consisting of 47 turbines and capable of producing approximately 700GWh annually.
While The 168MW Tellenes plant is located in the Rogaland municipalities of Lund and Sokndal, and consists of 50 turbines with an annual production of 520GWh. Both projects are developed by Blackrock and have been operational in 2021 and 2017, respectively. Together the two projects will produce enough electricity to meet the needs of 75,000 households.
The companies expect to wrap up the deal by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
