Cosmo Eco Power is set to build an up to 1000 MW offshore wind farm to be located in Ishikari Bay in Hokkaido, Japan.
Cosmo Eco Power has submitted an environmental impact statement (EIS) for its proposed project. The wind farm will consist of up to 125 wind turbines installed at water depths of up to 200 meters with a wind turbine size of between 8 MW - 12 MW. The total number of wind turbines will depend on the type of technology that is yet to be selected.
