EDF Renewables UK and PS Renewables have unveiled plans for Rosefield's new solar farm with battery storage in Buckinghamshire, UK.

Positioned between Buckingham and Aylesbury, Rosefield Solar Farm is poised to play a pivotal role in bolstering the UK's clean energy capacity, providing electricity to approximately a quarter of all Buckinghamshire households. The Solar Farm could power more than 57,000 homes and save around 125,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year – the equivalent of taking approximately 72,000 petrol cars off our roads.

A six-week consultation period will be conducted, during which community feedback will be instrumental in shaping the Rosefield Solar Farm plans and recognizing potential advantages for the local vicinity. This consultation will involve a series of events, affording the public opportunities to review the blueprints, interact with the project team, seek clarifications, and offer input. These events are scheduled at the following locations and times:

  • Calvert Green Village Hall and Brickworx Bar on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Quainton Memorial Hall on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • East and Botolph Claydon Village Hall on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Steeple Claydon Village Hall on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
