Spanish energy provider Iberdrola has finished building the hybrid wind-solar plant in Spain.
A 74 MW solar facility has been established in the municipalities of Revilla Vallejera, Villamedianilla, and Vallejer, near Burgos, in Spain's Castilla y León province. Additionally, a 69 MW wind plant, operational for several years, is located near the municipalities of Ballestas and Casetona. Iberdrola invested EUR40 million (US$42.0 million) in the solar project. The energy supplier is actively engaged in developing and constructing various hybrid wind-solar projects in Spain and globally.
