Grenergy Renovables has been granted consent and a construction permit for the 36.7 MW/43.37 MWp Chambo solar farm project in the region of Valencia, Spain. The solar park will be a part of the 172 MWp Ayora complex, which will also include three other solar farms and is expected to deliver electricity to Amazon.com under a power purchase agreement (PPA) signed earlier this year.

The Chambo solar farm will be built in the municipality of Ayora and is budgeted at EUR22.4 million (US$24.6 million). The facility will use over 115,600 bifacial photovoltaic modules mounted on 1,377 trackers. However, since the solar farm's nominal capacity will be greater than the grid access capacity, which is 32.31 MW, Grenergy will be required to install a control system, as stated in the resolution.

Grenergy Renovables is dedicated to minimizing the environmental impact of its projects and contributing to the fight against climate change. The Chambo solar farm is part of Grenergy's efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio and support the transition to a low-carbon economy in Spain.
