Conrad Energy secures planning permit for 50 MW battery energy storage project in Somerset

Conrad Energy has been awarded a planning development permit for the development of the 50 MW battery energy storage facility located in North Petherton in Somerset, South West England, UK. 

The two-hour battery energy storage system will be constructed using local topography and innovative design to conceal the scheme within the landscape. Conrad Energy has recently secured the planning approval for the 15 MW 4-hour battery storage project in Plympton, Devon.
