The joint venture company of Kajima Corp. and sustainability specialist Low Carbon Alliance Limited, Taiyo Power & Storage, is planning to build a 44 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project that will be located near Swansea in Wales, UK.
Named 'Parc Solar Caenewydd', the solar PV plant will be constructed in the Afon Llan valley between Gorseinon and Fforest Fach. The developers have now submitted the proposal for the project for the first stage of consultation.
Once the public engagement and consultations are over, a final application will be made directly to the Planning Inspectorate for Wales alongside consultation with the Swansea planning authority.
