Commercial operation launched for 13.18 MW JRE Takashima solar project in Shiga Prefecture

Japan Renewable Energy (JRE) on May 1 has announced that it's Takashima solar project has launched commercial operation. 

The plant is located in Takashima city, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. The facility consists of 38,764 panels and is expected to generate 14.2 million kWh per year, enough to meet the annual demand of about 3,230 local households.
