Brazil accepts 75.6 MW Serra da Mangabeira wind park for REIDI scheme

The Government of Brazil has accepted the 75.6 MW Serra da Mangabeira wind park to enter the national Incentive Regime for Infrastructure Development (REIDI) and issue infrastructure debentures.

The project owned by Statkraft Energias Renovaveis ​​SA is located in the municipality of Brotas de Macaubas in Bahia State, Brazil. The facility consists of 18 turbines with 4.2 MW of individual capacity. 

Statkraft will now invest BRL291.8 million (US$57.2 million) to construct the project. Commissioning is expected to be done by January 1, 2025.
