Boom Power has closed the planning approval for the development of the 49.9 MW solar photovoltaic project that will be constructed on about 94 ha of land in Hull, East Yorkshire, UK.
Named 'Kenley Solar Farm', the project will be connected to the national grid once commissioned. The construction of the plant is expected to start in mid-2023.
The project development is seen to result in an onsite net increase of 77% in biodiversity units, a 108% increase in hedgerow units, and about a 14% increase in river units.
