Intelligent Land Investors (ILI) Group, Abbey Group, and YOO Energy have announced the sale of a 50 MW battery storage project in Scotland to Engie.
The South Lanarkshire Council planning committee cleared the plans for the development in August 2022. The project’s construction schedule and expected commissioning are not disclosed.
The acquisition is part of Engie’s plan to expand its fleet of flexible generation capacity in the UK.
