BayWa divests 110 MWp of UK solar PV projects

BayWa r.e. has sold 110 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in the UK to two different buyers. The solar farms have the capacity to provide green electricity to over 31,000 homes in the country.

BayWa has sold the first project, the 30 MWp Bracks PV park in Cambridgeshire, to Railpen. The second, 80 MW Scurf Dyke near Hull, has been sold to re:cap global investors. BayWa is currently constructing both projects, which are anticipated to be operational in 2023.

BayWa r.e. has entered into 20-year contracts to provide both solar projects with long-term O&M and commercial asset management services.
